Day 1 · Friday

Nairobi → Thomson's Falls → Lake Solai → Kapicha Campsite

06:00 AM — Meet at Reinsurance Plaza, Nairobi
  • Depart for the Great Rift Valley
  • Scenic stop at Subukia Viewpoint
  • Cross the Equator at Nyahururu
  • Explore the magnificent Thomson's Falls
  • Lunch en route (self-sponsored, not catered)
  • Visit the serene Lake Solai
  • Arrive at Kapicha Campsite
  • Set up camp overlooking Lake Bogoria and the surrounding escarpments

Day 2 · Saturday

Kapicha → Camp Zero → Lake Baringo

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only once a non-refundable 30% deposit has been received via the Till Number above.
  • The remaining balance must be cleared in full 7 days before departure to allow for proper planning and logistics. Karori Tours reserves the right to release your spot if the balance is not settled in time.

2. Cancellations & Changes

  • The 30% deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including personal cancellation.
  • If Karori Tours cancels the trip (e.g. insufficient numbers, security, or weather), participants will be offered a partial refund or transfer to another date.
  • Karori Tours reserves the right to adjust the itinerary, route, or campsite due to weather, road conditions, security, or other circumstances beyond our control, while keeping the spirit of the trip intact.

3. Health & Fitness

  • This is an outdoor camping expedition involving travel, walking, boat transport and outdoor sleeping. Participants confirm they are physically fit to take part.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be disclosed at the time of registration.

4. Liability & Assumption of Risk

  • Participation in this expedition is voluntary and at each participant's own risk.
  • Karori Tours, its guides, staff and partners will take reasonable care for participants' safety but are not liable for any loss, injury, illness, or death arising from participation, except where caused by proven gross negligence on the part of Karori Tours.
  • Karori Tours is not responsible for loss of, theft of, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to have their own personal and travel/medical insurance cover for the duration of the trip.

5. Conduct

  • Karori Tours reserves the right to remove any participant from the trip, without refund, for behaviour that endangers themselves, other participants, guides, or the environment.
